Halloween Wardrobe Malfunction

My birthday being the day before, Halloween has always been a holiday that I have never felt too old for. While getting my costume ready, I could not find the medallion / brooch clasp for my cape. It was nearly an hour until go time, so I hopped on Thingiverse and 45 minutes later I had 3D printed this beauty to clasp my cape.

Here is the final costume result. Happy Halloween!

Dipping my toes in the waters of 3D Printing.

I have been fascinated with the idea of home 3D printing ever since it became a reality, but who wouldn’t be? It has taken me a couple of years to take the plunge, but I finally got my first 3D printer, a Flashforge Creator Pro.
It didn’t take me long to get it up and running and create my first print, Darth Buddha!

Sculpture Projects

My sculpture reflects an intense relationship between myself and the material with which I am working. This relationship is based on my reactions and responses to the material, the marks I make in it, and my own ideas. I continue to learn about myself and my material as the relationship progresses. Every piece I create is an experiment. I am never sure of exactly what I am going to do, or how it may change me or my work. I never know, when I begin, what my finished piece will look like.
