Green Bay Tall Ships

The Green Bay Tall Ships Festival was this past weekend and better weather couldn’t have been asked for. This three-day maritime festival features ship tours and day-sail excursions on nine tall ships.

What are Tall Ships? A tall ship is a large traditionally rigged sailing vessel. Popular modern tall ship rigs include topsail schooners, brigantines, brigs, and barques. Traditional rigging may include square rigs and gaff rigs, with separate topmasts and topsails.
